Just be careful and don't report me please ~5004~ The Rainwing dashed through the trees. She knew the egg was hatching, but she couldn't let it hatch with the other Rainwing eggs. Who knew what the Rainwings would do if they found a hybrid among them? Much less, one who had royal blood in her veins? Grapefruit shook her head and kept going. The closer to the ocean she was, the more likely her mate, Prince Humboldt, would be able to see their child hatch. *He's done it before, he can do it again,* she thought, smiling a bit. Suddenly a dragon rolled in front of Grapefruit, and she recoiled, her scales turning pale green. But when the pale blue spirals on the dragon's wings lit up, she hissed silently. "Nudibranch!" The green hybrid grinned at her mother. "I want to see my sister hatch!" she whispered, only 5. Grapefruit rolled her eyes, shielded her with her wing, and they ran to the beach, where Humboldt was waiting. Grapefruit gasped when she saw the gash on his chest. "I'll be fine," he said with a smile. "The reef scratched me, it's not that bad." Grapefruit tried to interject, but a loud CRACK stunned them into silence. The rusty red egg cracked, and some noises were heard from inside. Nudibranch hopped over to it, and the three dragons watched as a deep purple dragon climbed out of it. Nudibranch growled a bit as she turned to look at her. She clearly was more pretty than Nudibranch. Her large ruffs were the same red as the egg, along with a mossy green and purple designs. Her wings were a dark green, and marked with purple diamonds aligned symmetrically. Purple bone-like markings glowed gently, making her look eerie. Did beauty affect the dragonet's thinking? Probably not. But Nudibranch, who had been excited to meet her new baby sister, was filled with hatred. With a painful moan, Humboltd dropped dead. ~5009~ Piranha hid under a bush. The Rainwings knew about the hybrids in their midst and didn't really care, but Grapefruit had warned Piranha and Nudibranch to be careful. Piranha had disobeyed those orders and was watching the coastline, where two Seawing guards were talking. "Such a shame Humboltd died here all those years ago," one said, trying to make conversation. The other one nodded. "Gill is taking over the rule until Coral's next living heir hatches. Two girls were killed in the hatchery cause Abalone died from some growth and Gill trusted a dragonet to find Snapper. "Was Snapper executed?" "Yep. Shame he wasn't in the palace." Piranha grinned. The more heirs who mysteriously died, the closer she was to becoming the Seawing queen. Someone grabbed her tail and dragged her back into the heart of the rainforest. After some flailing, Piranha got up and turned to her attacker. "Nudibranch," she said, glaring at her. The bright dragon growled. "You little sneak shouldn't be out there!" "You go out there all the time!" "Because I'm older and wiser and prettier!" Piranha bit her lip. She knew this was about beauty, not whatever Grapefruit's rules were. The one thing they could agree on was that Grapefruit was overprotective. Nudibranch threw a rock at Piranha, which bounced off harmlessly. "You would be dead if it wasn't for your magic," she growled. "I'll find your weak spot soon, you little melanistic rascal." She stormed off. "Well it's too late for you. Shatter?" Nudibranch turned around and her eyes widened as a small knife, which was glowing purple, killed her. The Rainwings were freaking out. One of their own was dead, and with the mysterious disappearances, the 'Rainforest Monster' seemed to be very real. Piranha had helped with some of this chaos, killing multiple dragons to fuel the fear.
Grapefruit never knew about Piranha's secret, and never did until Piranha burned their house down, leaving the innocent Rainwing in the flames. She decided to flee the next day. ~5011~ After almost 2 years of causing deaths that dragons blamed on the war, Piranha had lost her soul. Yet her cleverness still shone, preventing her from going on a mad rampage. She was walking on the beach, when she saw a green Seawing drawing happy faces with a stick. Shatter rose up next to Piranha, but she put it down when she saw the talon-like marks on his wings. She felt like killing this dragonet would be like killing her father, and she let Shatter hide behind her back. "Hello." The Seawing turned around with a squeaky yelp, cowering. Piranha squinted. She saw that this dragon was an animus. *I need to do something to this dragon... but what?* she thought to herself, flicking her tail. "What's your name?" The little squirmy dragon said "P-Pacific?" "I'm Piranha." "Like the fishy?" "Yes, like the fish." She cocked her head. "Do you like being happy?" "Yes! I'm happy because my sister came back! Only for a little bit though. But she brought fwends! Who weren't there for long. But she stopped the evil statwu that was making my sisters go away! And I got a new sister, Awklet!" He kept going on and on about how happy he was, when finally Piranha snapped "I enchant this prince to never be happy unless he is doing or thinking of evil things!" The dragonet stopped, glared at her, and dove into the water. Piranha chuckled and continued on her stroll. "His abilities will eat at him soon enough." ~5013~ "Shatter! You've returned!" Piranha had pulled a Darkstalker and had sent Shatter to kill one dragon per day for an entire year. These deaths were silent and were hidden, still to be found by dragons. She made her way to a small town on the border of the Ice Kingdom. She wandered around until she saw exactly who she was looking for. A silver robot dragon was shopping for its family, and judging by the glares and dragons avoiding it, it and/or its family was disliked. *Perfect* Piranha thought, walking up to it. It turned its head to her, and said "Hello there, ma'am. I am Miner. Is there something you wish for me-" Piranha raised her talon. "I enchant Miner to go and kill its family... except traumatize the kid, and stalk him." She chuckled as it turned and walked home, before walking over to a stall and setting it on fire. She flew off as it quickly spread to the rest of the marketplace. ~5014~ Piranha strutted through Sanctuary, sending Shatter around with a coat of dragonbite viper vemon to poison unsuspecting dragons. She ran into a fairly large Nightwing, who jumped backwards with a growl. Piranha just glared at her, inspecting the perfect talonprints the stars on her wings made, her unusual dark yellow color, and the spike on her snout that Nightwings did not sport. "You aren't a Nightwing. Show yourself," she snarled. The Nightwing was taken aback, nervously looking around. She ducked into an empty stall. Piranha followed, calling Shatter just in case she were to be ambushed by this strange dragon. The Nightwing spread her wings and shrank a bit, losing her wings, and gaining white scales with a few black spikes. When she opened her eyes, they were black with red pupils. The Facewing looked up at Piranha. "If you're so smart, could you help me?" "For a price, but yes." The dragon looked around, before saying, "I have a split personality disorder. There's this dark side of me that keeps trying to get out. Could you remove it?" Piranha pondered a bit, thinking of how to make it worse. Then she finally said, "I enchant this dragon to have 5 personalities instead of one, and they'll only go away when she discovers her true self." She chuckled and walked off, leaving the whimpering dragon clutching her head in the stall. "Never trust an animus to help you." ~5019 (Present day)~ 'Years of Peace' Piranha hated that. She despised peace, and despite her attempts to start some sort of war, especially during the period of time that the Hybrids prophecy was being completed, she couldn't get a single grudge started. She was now in the Rainforest Kingdom, where it all began. As she walked past dragons from all tribes, her anger grew and her soul dissipated more, if that was even possible. Finally a Rainwing walked up to her and said, "You killed Nudibranch and Grapefruit all those years ago. Don't you think I forgot, Piranha." That was it. She snapped. With a furious roar, Piranha commanded Shatter to kill every dragon it could. After a moment of extreme panic, Shatter, just obeying its master's orders, sliced Piranha's neck, having been enchanted to break through any spell when commanded to kill. Piranha yowled, having never felt pain before, and Shatter became ash. Nobody's seen her since.
