Instructions

This version of PSXmit is now DISCONTINUED! I'm now working on PSXmit 1sBIOS. PSXmit 1sBIOS: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/616708290/ Get your BIOS at: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/617609058/ PRODUCE YOUR OWN GAMES TO PSXMIT: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/587440929/ Report bugs in the PSXmit Bugtracker: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/606415365/ Custom files compatible: PSXmit 1.1.2 Compatible File No other will work (Your games wont be added officially, but you can import them here) ======= PSXmit is a project that tries to reproduce PSX BIOSes. It can also reproduce errors as well. All of the commands are inside the project, when you start the project. Thank you so much @Hudus for helping me doing this... We'll never forget you... Thanks to: @Galactjavi @Hudus @Galactjavi actually made the menu designs for the downloadable version, that'll be released soon. PSXmit 1.1 is a very instable emulator, so i would recommend you to check if everything is correct in your computer. Because this project actually tries to recreate the VRAM system of PSX, and it might actually lag a bit. And, yes, actually, some errors can happen! Just like those BIOS corruptions. Errors in BIOS are actually rare, and can ONLY be triggered if something is not working correctly in the Core sprite. Coding errors can also trigger them. Please, if an error happen, you can tell me. There'll be also a corrupted version of this project, which the Core sprite is scrambled, so you can have fun with some STRANGE errors ========================================= ALL OF THE CONTENT RELATED TO PlayStation™ IS OWNED BY Sony Interactive Entertainment! I DO NOT OWN NONE OF THIS. Credits: @Hudus @Galactjavi Sony Interactive Entertainment =========================================Commands: 0 - Simulate BIOS 1 - Simulate BIOS (Complete Intro) 2 - Demo Game 3 - Life Sim 4 - Super QUIZ (Disabled) U - Non PSX disc (PFear) V - Force Boot Mode B - Change BIOS O - Settings P - Change diamond design T - Changelog R - Restart Emulation E - Quit from the Emulation Spacebar - Crash F - Randomizer I - Lag C - Credits S - Safety There's a thing about the randomizer: There's a high chance of the emulation crash and after few seconds, show an error screen. Basically, it's the crash handler Errors List: CRASH HANDLER ERRORS: 0x01 - Incorrect value detected on the emulation. 0x02 - No network connection RSODs (Red Screen of Death): Error 06: BIOS Changed during emulation. =========================================Help: Question: I've got an error saying "SOFTWARE ENDED, EMULATOR MAY HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED.". How can i fix it? Answer: For first: I've made an Anti-Copying system, because the clout chasers might want to steal the engine. If you've played the project in Scratch Desktop, there's no problem if you had no intention to steal. But as i can't control that, you can just play PSXmit online. Question: What about Error Code 0x01? Answer: There's a sprite named "psxmit_antierrors". This sprite checks if all of the values are correct. If one of them is incorrect, your emulation will freeze, and show this error screen. Question: I got PFear even though i selected "Simulate complete intro". What i can do? Answer: There are some few things for you to do. If you got PFear, even if you don't selected it, press "L''. There'll be a note named "CURRENT MODE:". If there's a NaN there, use your arrow keys to navigate to "CHANGE MODE", press Z and type INTRO. Didn't work? You might need to press "N" and you'll view the emulation logs. Check if the BIOS is in the BIOS list. After few seconds, a note named "MODE: [mode]" will show. If it showed, everything is correct. These logs will help you a lot. If the logs go nuts refresh the page

Description

Compatible with PSXmit 1.1.2 Compatible Files. No other file will work. I've ripped the BIOS sounds myself, i don't need to credit no one on YouTube PSXmit is an emulator, which ports the PSX BIOSes to Scratch, trying to recreate them. There's also a Desktop Version, which is not released yet. The emulation might be instable. =========================================PSXmit is a PSX emulator made to recreate PSX BIOSes into Scratch. ========================================= All of the content related to PlayStation is owned by Sony and not by me. =========================================Version: 1.2 Press "T" to view changelog. ========================================= About modding: Modding is allowed. You can mess up with everything you want, but, the sprite "sys_core" is very important. Please, try to not mess up with that. ========================================= Adding games: A new project which teaches you how to add games into PSXmit was released here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/587440929/ =========================================Crash Handler: After using the randomizer, there's a high chance of the emulation stop, and show an error screen. Use Arrow Keys to select an action and Z to comfirm. It's better if you choose "RESTART", so you can play. =========================================Errors List: -PlayStation 3D Error: During the scene that the PlayStation logo shows, a cloning error might happen, making the PlayStation logo glitch. It might happen because the"sys_vram" might go nuts and reach the cloning limit, which is 300 -No company: Using the "FORCE BOOT" thing in the Debug Menu, there will be no Sony Computer Entertainment. -Personified Fear: This is an actual error that happens in actual devices. It happens if the BIOS is not set correctly, or the mode that was chosen doesn't exists. You can test this error pressing "U", which the mode is named as UNREADABLE. This mode/game is not detectable in the "sys_core", making the system execute nothing. The time will expire and trigger PFear. It's a complex thing. -Lag: This happens when the emulation is instable. It can also happen if the "sys_vram" sprite goes to extremely crazy cloning, making the emulation lag. The normal clone counter at the end of the boot is 30. If it passes 30, you need to press "E" and boot again. Since the project is very instable, over 30 clones might already lag a lot. But, you may be asking: "why you used cloning?". Well... As i saw in PSX BIOS Corruptions, the VRAM loads the graphics and clones them in the screen. I tried to recreate the same thing in the sprite "sys_vram"
