Welcome to Lightspeed, a game to test your reflexes! Can you beat the high score and set the record for the fastest pilot? Press the arrow keys to destroy blocks but beware! If you press the wrong button you may end up lost to space! If you are the current record holder, then you can request to reset the high score. Just leave a comment! UPDATES: 10-28-20 Release 11-2-20 The score now shows in-game, and it shows the record holder's name next to the global high score! COMING SOON I might add a slow time power up. Maybe an auto destroy power up too. (They seem overpowered but you will have to sacrifice score points)
I made this game for AquaLeafStudios' contest. You should check out their projects! Out of 100 games, this one won first place! That's amazing! I didn't expect to win because all of the entries were so good, but games are my favorite! The music is from Terraria Calamity Mod. The parallaxy (did I just make up a word?) star background animation is inspired by Among Us. The title is loosely based off of the Back to the Future title. Everything else is by me. I did not know what to put for the thumbnail, so sorry if it was misleading! Heart and Star or else The Stranger will steal your pink cupcake. Silly Story: I made a platformer similar to this, but I never shared it because it was very broken. This whole project came together in a couple hours.
