Welcome to your adventure! Use the arrow keys to move and jump, and if you have the fire flower press space to shoot. While the game has no enemies, you can still just try it out. I know there are some collision issues, and the walk cycle isn't great quality, but ah well.
Just so you know, this is only a demo so don't expect a full game. Thanks to @DuckGoose9254 for most of the player, level, and Star scripts, but most sprites are by me and all other scripts too.
