all inside. but warning, do not feed, sleep, or play with you pet if it is full, because it will make your pet die!!! and it should last 10 minutes before the angel comes. it gets 1 bar down every 5 minutes. oh and, when it asks you what food you want to feed your pet, you have to type in something from the menu.
