-Chapter 1- Hey there! I should introduce myself. I am Sir Thomas Ivingwell the first, minus the whole “sir” part. I come from the small town of Riverpool, Terraregna. After my father died, my mother decided for us to move to Sirenchester, Meraregna, so my brother and I could get steady jobs as fishermen in the future. Pfft, I could never settle for something as lousy as that. Honestly, the only good that came out of moving to Sirenchester was meeting some new friends. The first person that talked to me here there was a girl named Amora. She’s... well, she’s exciting to say the least. Amora is very sweet, but she can be a little too much for me at times. Eventually, she introduced me to her best friend, Eliza. Ah, Eliza. She’s the smartest girl there is. She knows how to mix potions, and... actually, I don’t know much about her, but she’s pretty great nonetheless. Then, of course, there’s the cleric and the medic of the town, Renn and Edwin. Renn’s bad jokes make everyone suffer on a daily basis, and I have no idea how Edwin is even related to him. Edwin may be a young medic, but he’s pretty experienced. I’m pretty sure my mom would rather have him as a son than me, since he’s basically a complete package. There’s also this thief that goes around town occasionally? I’ve never heard what his name was. He only steals like a few apples at a time, but he always makes time to flirt with the ladies. He’s pretty cool for a thief, I guess. And I think that’s about everyone here that I care about! I’ve lived here in Sirenchester for quite a while now, and it’s honestly a pretty quiet place. Not much happens here. Maybe the occasional old fisherman gets a hook stuck in his hand, but that only happens like, once a month. Wait, I hear something coming from outside. There’s a crowd forming? What’s happening? I rush down the stairs and out the door, but I still can’t see much. I try pushing through the crowd to see what’s happening. I trip on someone’s foot and fall on the knobbly road. I try getting up immediately and notice someone’s bandaged hand reaching out to help me. I take their hand and look up. She smiles at me and says “Sorry there! Didn’t think we’d cause such a ruckus.” Her hair is something of a rose gold color, and she’s wearing a cloak. Is… Is she a sorcerer? What’s she doing here? I look next to her and see someone who looks to be a paladin and some sort of barbarian. She looks kind of frustrated at everyone. Are they the reason everyone is gathered around? What are they do- “Alright, everyone!” the paladin shouted, “My name is Cory, and my… uh, travelling partners here are Sparrow and Magnolia. As some of you may have heard, there has been some rumors of people planning to raid Meraregna’s capital castle.” I look around as some old folks around me gasp in shock. I’m surprised too, who would want to raid the castle? Cory continued, “Sparrow, Magnolia, and I have travelled far from here to recruit some of you fine citizens to help us defend the castle. With most of the guards being sent to Langdale to fight against Dundee, the castle will be at its weakest. For those willing to help us, the king has something special as a reward for you.” Hmm, could I leave my mom and brother to help our kingdom? Maybe if my friends go with, I’m still not sure though. I'm probably not strong enough. Cory looked around at everyone one last time, “So, who’s with us?” = = = = = oh jeez i took too long i'm so sorry peri please forgive me,, i hope it was worth the wait though?? my chapters always seem to be shorter than everyone else's so i put a good amount of filler in haha.. if i did your character wrong, please don't be afraid to tell me!! i wanna make sure i got everyone's personalities right ;w; -the characters- Thomas- me!!
