Well, DMM ended up winning the vote by exactly one, so here we are! So, I don't actually know how these work, having never hosted one nor entered in one, so bear with me. Basically, I need a new main OC. Emberflight just doesn't click the same way she used to. I've stopped using her in RPs, CCs, etc. So I'm asking you all to help me, as I have neither time nor skill to design myself a main. Requirements: ✾ must be a cat. I really only draw cats, so it needs to be a cat or similar enough to a cat that poor feline-centric me can draw it ✾ must be female. I don't want to represent myself with a character who isn't like me, so the character needs to be female like me. ✾ needs to have a design I can replicate. Simple enough. I can't have a main I can't draw. Suggestions: ✾ I like blues, especially dark blues, grays, blacks, some pastels, and most shades of purple ✾ I also really like the moon, water, gemstones, interesting rocks, flowers, butterflies, and floof. ✾ I typically make less complex designs, so keep that in mind. If that makes you want to go more complicated, go ahead. Same if you decide to keep it simple. ✾ You can totally include accessories. If you want a list of fandoms I'm in and my 'role' within those fandoms, please check out my extended About Me, linked in my regular About me. Don'ts: ✾ I really don't like bright colors. Pinks, reds, oranges, most yellows, and any neon color is off the table. And be careful with white too, but that's more tolerable. ✾ This is NOT meant to be a Warriors OC! I have tons of those. I have Warriors OCs for days. Please do not make her a warrior cat. ✾ If you can, use your own art. I will accept bases, but I prefer seeing your unique art. How to get bonus points: ✾ Full ref sheet. If you give me a ref sheet I can use and/or build off of, that will instantly get you bonus points ✾ Make her animation friendly or at least include an animation friendly version. I plan to use her in lots of animations and she'll be my go-to if someone makes me a profile pic or someone wants to make fanart for me (unlikely but I like being prepared). I don't want to be mean to the nice people making me art. ✾ Multiple entries. By this, I mean to think of this like a DTA, kind of, except you aren't drawing a specific design. Multiple art pieces, just proving to me that this is easily replicable, will get you bonus points. Um, that's about all I can think of.
