this massive island was discovered in 1801 by a few English explorers Qablic- the country of France colonized the southeast part of the island in 1815 and would name the colony Qablic, they would also colonize the southeastern island, fast forward to 1899 the British would declarer war, after a long bloody 3 year war the british would take the the west peninsula, in 1975 the colony would turn into revolution which the french decided to allow them to be independent, in 1995 the southern part island of koja would break free in a peaceful revolution
