Later she got her warrior name Frecklepool and met Mousepelt. She had a crush on Mousepelt but things didn't work out and their friendship ended and Frecklepool began to dislike Mousepelt after she had injuried herself in front of Frecklepool. She met Charcoalheart some time after and became best friends with him. She developed a crush on him some time after. She confessed to Charcoalheart at the same time he did. Charcoalheart then left to become a kittypet. Jaybrook and her found him after and they decided that they were going to wait to become mates until later. Squirrelstride died a few days later and was upset to learn of her friends death.
