Description

Update (29/12/2024) Credits to "B core" and "Unnamed Power Core" for inspiration ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Random stuff... Update: 15 Last update: 16/1/2023 10000 views: 21/09/2023 Project birth 14/10/2020 (4 Years old) Release date: 16/10/2020 Epic day: 25/10/2022 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Removed the "Swipe to hide controls" ability and changed it to an option in the settings menu. 16/04/2023 Thanks @coolmanisawesome24 Update 15: 29/12/2024 -The core SHOULD no longer blow up when the start up fail is successfully shutdown -Small permanent (Unless you refresh the page) reward when successfully shutting down a start up fail. Currently only a visual change, may add more later -Increased glow size on start up -Start up fail shutdown success chance reduced (I know it's not much at all, however, when I am on scratch, (which is not often), my main priority is Reactor Core 3, which is slowly coming together) Update 14: 16/1/2023 -The ability to hide the controls to get a full view of the chamber. To enable it, swipe down. To disable it, swipe up (Swipe the distance of the points of each "Main laser." The middle ones) -Improvements to the start up fail, it is no longer unexpected -Added a shutdown to the start up fail, on success, nothing is rewarded after, but that should change some time -Slightly improved the shutdown for meltdown -On startup, the lights on the power lasers appear white as well as on the ESDS -Start up fail chance has been decreased from 1/30 to 1/25 -Disabled Christmas, it can still be enabled in settings -Added the option to disable particles in settings Update 13: 15/12/2022 -Added some simple Christmas decorations. Can toggle on/off in settings -Improved the temperature display, it now stays in the centre of the screen instead of moving to one side (All credits go to @Xlaenti for the code). Also still trying to figure out how to make it shake. Update 12: 7/12/2022 -Added a settings menu. To access it, Start up must be successful (as of right now), then hold the right side of your screen for any time over a second. To close, just tap the left side of your screen. Update 11: 1/12/2022 -Skip song button. You are able to skip the songs in meltdown, shutdown fail and ESDS. Update 10: 16/10/2022 COMPLETE REMASTER OF THE WHOLE GAME. (For the games 2 year up time!) I've heard that some of you guys were reporting your scratch crashing, as well as tons of other bugs, so, since like a week ago, I've been working on a WHOLE revamp of the game. Everything is relatively the same, but the "graphics" I guess have changed, for starters, the screens and control board look a whole look nicer hmm? I can tell you now that you will not suffer from crashing ANYMORE, as the file size for the old version was 122.7 megabytes, which is insane, BUT the file size for this game is under 30 megabytes (As of right now), which is quite epic. Here's the list of updates. ========================================== -[Better graphics Updated startup and shutdown button Updated power levers Updated info screens Slightly better looking freezedown-] -Fixed layering -Faster loading times/Less crashing (If it still crashes, then I'm sorry, but I've done the best I could) -Improved screen shaking -A lot less sprites -Core startup failure chance has been increased from "1 in 4" to "1 in 25" -Meltdown shutdown failure chance increased from "1 in 2" to "1 in 4". -Meltdown happens at 20000, starting temp is 8000 -You can save the core from a freezedown or meltdown by getting the temps 1000 higher or lower -You now have to answer three completely random math questions in a row to shutdown (They aren't too hard trust me :D) -More that I've probably forgotten Removed things: -"Physical" alarms -Temp gradually goes down at shutdown success -Thermal Runway -Instant Melt/Freeze Buttons -Messages (The ones on the top of the screen) -Alarms stopping at power outage -Mute alarms button (Migrated to settings) -Radiation Sickness ==========================================
