Move your mouse to the top left corner to change settings. There are 68 pictures and a 69th one made for you to replace with your own to see how it looks in this project. Change blur amount to change how much the image is blurred horizontally. 1 means no blurring. Turn on color ghosting for a second blurring pass that causes ghosting and desaturates the image. Turn on synchronize color for the color ghosting pass to be lined up with the blurred image. Change color ghosting amount to change how blurred the color ghosting pass is. Higher values make the image more gray and rainbow.
This is an experiment to create a color bleeding effect on images. It could even be used on GIFs. How does it work? This project moves the image to the right by 1 pixel and stamps with a transparency slightly higher than in the previous stamp. This blurs the image horizontally. There is also a second pass that does the same thing but shifts its hue every stamp. This causes decreased saturation and a ghosting effect.
