This was the first positive comment I got. It was about giving credit. There is a reason I'm sharing this project. Recently, I have noticed many Scratchers doing a cool trend called "not giving credit". It is actually not a cool trend. I was being sarcastic. I'm not saying this is new. I'm just seeing more of it now. And I don't like it. Imagine this situation: Alex just made a game. It is called "Portal on Scratch", and he has worked very carefully to port Portal to Scratch. He has credited Valve. Now meet Steve (completely random name). Steve has remixed the project, not changed anything, and is getting more views than the original. He didn't bother to do anything to the description, so the instructions are the same, but the notes and credits have been erased. Neither Valve nor Alex has been credited. Steve's remix now has more views than the original. Everyone likes his stolen project. Alex is furious. You might argue, "But SCB3, Scratch automatically credits you! Everyone who remixes is always thankful! They don't need to write some silly note!" Actually, almost nobody reads the thing Scratch says about remixing. Proof? https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/342556645/ (I was not going to link this project because the creator told me he changed something and closed the project but then I read deeper into the comments and found out that he didn't change anything and it was only made so that he could look cool. He has happy commenters. Perfect example.) The good news: Some people understand when you tell them nicely. I have seen people credit after being asked. Ok bye. If this project seems disrespectful, please tell me before reporting so that I can try and fix it.
Credit to the commenter for making an awesome game I could remix and commenting on my remix.
