Hey there. It's been a hot minute since I've posted. So over a year ago, I announced that I was going to make a comic called Timekeepers. It was going to feature Harbinger, a new apprentice of Cinderclan by the name of Harepaw. He gets intertwined with the Timekeepers Council after the former keeper of the past dies and passes his power off. I was too quick to pull the trigger on a project like that. At the time, I had no idea just how much goes into a comic. It's way more time than I can manage. I am already so unbelievably busy with honors classes that I have no time for hobbies. And the small bits of time I get to do them, I usually devote to art and animation studies or making props and etc. Also, between the time I announced it and now, I decided that I was going to try to establish myself as an artist and open an art business. I would rather put my time towards this than a comic. So what does all this mean for Timekeepers? -I will still be writing the story. However, it will not be a comic. It will be an digital illustrated chapter book. -I will make a website to post it on. In the beginning, the website will not have anything but the book itself on it. As time goes on, I will add more content to the site such as character profiles, fanart (if there is any), contests, etc. -The story itself has changed very drastically since its first concept. There are a lot heavier themes present, and the characters are more well developed than before. -I will still be using the characters that some of you guys provided for me. They all have their rightful place within the story. Some are really close to Harbinger, while others are more distant. Please don't be offended if your character isn't one of the close ones to him. I determined this based on their personalities and which ones would interact best with Harbinger. -The new storyline is still in heavy development as I scrapped the original only about 4 months ago. It may be a long while before the revised storyline is put into motion. I'll try to keep y'all updated on the status of the story. I want this to be a worthwhile cause. Remember, the best things take a while to make!
