Instructions

the art's p old (and my style's changed) but y'know i'll redo this later, it's long overdue to be shared anyway and you guys deserve to know at least the smallest amount about these ocs and the world they live in. the characters also all have diff. body types, but when i made this i wasn't exactly sure what they were. until i update this they're all the same.

Description

ok, sooo this is a lil bit of lore about the world these guys live in. it's a universe similar to ours, but with a couple differences: one, cats (they're bigger than your average housecat, about the size of a tiger but not the same body structure) are the dominant species. they have language, technology, everything. they also all walk on four legs, although there's an au where they're anthros. second, other planets developed life very similar to what's on earth, but some differences in appearance, things that they can do, and most of all, culture. for example, mooncats developed special sugar that allows them to do magic and venusians evolved to use the Infinity Frequency for their language, which sounds like talking to other venusians (cats from venus) but to cats from other places, it sounds different. we earthlings all hear it as music but martians hear it as the clattering of pots and pans, mooncats hear it as a low sort of rumbling, etc. through prolonged exposure to the frequency you may start to hear what another planet hears, but then its about a 1/10 chance that you'll understand it as venusians do, and even then you'd still have to learn their language. martians are a warrior race that evolved to be more like our wolves than our cats. OKAYYY so now i've actually spilled quite a bit about this world so i'm not actually gonna reveal too much about the characters just yet c: you can figure a couple things out by the passage above, though.
