Instructions

General Notes ------------------- 1. Score in the top left is calculated by enemies defeated divided by the number of times that the 4 key was used to revive. 1.5. Arrow keys control music volume and Tory's voice. 2. The change in colour indicates damage to your ship and enemies. 3. Block regeneration only occurs if weapons are still attached. And movement is only possible if engines are attached. If building make sure to include the triangle and half-triangle-half-cube blocks. 4. Keep turbomode off unless otherwise instructed 5. Editing the "Tweak" variable can functionally change the space between blocks. 6. Solar systems can be orbited. 7. Interesting fact, the enemy AI closely follows a mathematical formula with a few changed variables for variety. Controls ------------ w = Accelerate r = Retrograde Burn (decelerate) 1 = Zoom in 2 = Zoom out 3 = Toggle 3D effect 4 = Reconstruct/Revive 5 = Toggle velocity display (Can help with navigation) *The use of keys 1-3 is buggy Build ------- *Block in the top right indicates current colour (from variable slider) and block type. n = Switch block type g + click = Generate block Double click = Move block Double tap space and hold = Rotate block toward pointer m = Mirror (required when finished one side) ">" = Change colour up while pointer over a block "<" = Change colour down while pointer over a block "/" = Apply current set colour *You can add new block costumes to S Blocks without impacting the operation but can interfere when importing older saved ships. (does not work with saves) Load ------- 1. Click "Q Start" to load the last built/saved ship 2. Click the "Save" button and your last ship will be converted into a code that can be copied and saved. (Feel free to share your ship codes in the comments) 3. Click the "Load" button then "Via File" and paste your ship code into the answer box at the bottom. Pre-made Ship Codes ------------------------------ "Advanced Tie Fighter": 240230330241375240225330241375240235330241375240220330241375245220330241375250220330241375255225330241375255220240242375250225420242375235220330241375230220330241375225225330241375225220330242375230225150242375245235330243375235235330244375 Default Ship: 220230330241240225220330241240235215330241240235215330241240245215330241240250215330241240260225330241240210235330241240275235330241240285235420241240295235330241240280235330241240290235330241240270230330241240255220330241240240215330241240230215330241240225225330241240215230330241240205235330241240215235330241240215235330241240265230330241240220225330241240230220330241240255215240242240260220240242240265225240242240275230240242263265235420242240265235420242240260230420242240255225420242240250220420242240225215330242263220220330242263215225330242263210230330242263210230330242263220235150242263225230150242263230225150242263235220150242263235220150242263270235330241240275240420242263285240330243263300235330243263215240150242263200235330244263205240330244263205240330244263210240330241240280240330241240220225330241240 Third Example: 205220330241348215215330241348220215330241348225215330241348230215330241348230215330241348235215330241348245215330241348195230330241348195235330241348195235330241348190230330241348195225330241348200220330241348210215330241348240215330241348250215330241348255215330241348260215330241348270215330241348265215330241348250220330241348255225330241348260230330241348255220330242240260225330242240250225330242240250225330242240255230330242240255230330242240245220330242240245220330242240275215240242240205215330242240210220150242240210220150242240195220330242240195220330242240265235330243240265225330243240260235420242240265235330243240185230330244240190235330244240190235330244240190225330244240190225330244240200225330241348205225150242240200230150242240200235240242240

Description

>>> If the technology interests you, check out this application of it that attempts to optimize the destruction of large blocks: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/435045122/ [I got some great feedback that it's a bit complicated to just get into and could use some kind of in game tutorial and better explanation of controls] (Tutorial Added) Problems and things to add: 1. Solar systems only form around the starting point. They should be deleted at a distance and then restored. (Done) 1.5. Gravity is too strong over great distances (Done) 2. Sun indicating arrow needs polishing. (Mostly done) 3. Engines and Weapons only fire in sequence and not at once. 4. At the edge of the screen, enemies can be fired on but will not fire. 5. Renew rainbow effect and other visual effects 6. Make it so that the length of the array need not be entered. (Done but needs to be applied) (Done) 7. More distinct game objectives. 8. More enemies that are not as clone demanding. 9. Different weapons. 10. Engine thrust direction making a difference. 11. Other functional blocks. 12. Live redesigning. 13. Asteroids. 14. Collectables. 15. Projectiles and blocks follow gravity around planets. 16. Better enemy AI to avoid collisions. 17. Enemies break after some generations. 18. Make multiplayer, probably could only handle 3 players
