A speed drawing of a squirrel. The color pencil strokes are random (within specified areas), so it will look slightly different each time. After using the "color pencil" effect with flat colors in Dino Drawing, I wanted to try layering (for a gradation effect) and drawing outlines, and this is the result. The outlines were drawn by recording the mouse position while tracing the squirrel photo. The color fills were created by drawing on top of a series of costumes of different shapes that I made based on the colors of the squirrel photo.
