------------------------------------------------------------ Part 4: The Name's Shadow Woman ------------------------------------------------------------(It had been a day after Megaman and Protoman fought off a Cloaked navi along with finding a black cloaked navi lying on the ground at the abandoned Ayanotech wearhouse, Lan was outside hanging out with Mayl, Dex, and Yai) ------------------------------------------------------------ Mayl: Hey Lan, I think you got an email... Yai: Yah think!? Megaman's been screaming that for the past 20 minutes! Dex: (Scratches his head) How come you didn't hear him Lan? Lan: Oh, I just ignored him until he stopped, alright Megaman what is it? Megaman: (Glares at Lan for a second then says annoyed) Well Lan, it's an email asking for me to go to the Official's net base thank you very much! Also that you have to go to Sky Town where the off net base is. Mayl: Well, looks like you have to go Lan. Lan: (looks sad) Sorry you guys, gotta go... Yai: It's alright! Dex: Yeah Yai's right, you have your own Official duties to tend to now go! Mayl: Yeah we'll see you later! Lan: (looks relieved) Thanks you guys! (Lan and Megaman go to the Official's base) Lan: (walks through the door) Hey Chaud, hey Baryl what's up? Chaud: You shouldn't be asking us, ask Jasmine. Baryl: (looks at Jasmine) Yes, tell him what happened just this morning Jasmine. Jasmine: (walks up to Lan) Well, this morning Medi found the navi you and Chaud found up and walking without their cloak. I think it would be good for Megaman, Protoman, and Colonel to ask them a few questions about what happened to them. Lan: Sounds good, now Medi, do you mind leading Megaman to the recovery room? Medi: (nods) That's just what I was about to do, follow me Megaman. Megaman: (starts to follow her) Alright, thank you Medi. Medi: (blushes a bit, author's note: gross Medi) Anything for you Mega! (Medi leads Megaman into a room which had Protoman and Colonel sitting in chairs talking to a grey navi with dark shades, dark blue diamonds all over her body, and a dark grey scarf around their neck on the recovery bed. Just as he walked in Medi closed the door only leaving them) Colonel: (looks at Megaman and gives a warm smile) So nice of you to join us Megaman. Protoman: (looks a bit annoyed) What took you so long? Megaman: Well SOMEONE didn't answer his email! (Lan looks to other way and whistles as Chaud and Baryl kinda glare at him) Megaman: (looks at the mysterious navi) Well who are you? Who attacked you? ??? Navi: (hesitates) Uhh..... Colonel: Don't worry, you're safe here, there's no reason to hesitate to tell us anything. Protoman: (chuckles a bit) Yeah, it's not like Megaman's gonna pounce to attack you while Colonel holds him back as I question my past choices. Chaud: (glares at Protoman) Not the time Protoman. Protoman: Sorry. Megaman: Anyways, we took care of the Cloaked Navi so you're safe here. Lan: (Nods in agreement) Yes, we destroyed that guy in battle! ??? Navi: (now looks confident) Well, my name's Shadow Woman. I was a commander of a special force to help fend off a criminal gang of navis and their owners that somehow got my own little team to turn against me. The distress signal was sent because I thought someone would get it soon so the could've caught the gang's leader, Control Queen in the act of doing so. Colonel: (looks confused) Baryl, have you ever heard of a Shadow Woman leading a group of navis? Baryl: (shakes his head) No, but remember there are somethings the government doesn't even tell us officials. Lets just say that it isn't impossible for Shadow Woman to command her own team. Megaman: (looks a bit confused) One question though... where are those navis now after they attacked you? Shadow Woman: I'm not sure, I blacked out after being attacked so the only person that would know is my net op. Megaman: So, where is your net op? Shadow Woman: I'm not sure, haven't heard from her since the attack which was about 4 days ago. Protoman: (confused) Strange... maybe she was kidnapped Shadow Woman: Maybe, but either ways I would need a team to get my old compadres back from that thieving virus! Megaman: (hears door opening) Huh? Medi: I'm sorry but Shadow Woman here still needs her rest, you all can talk about a team later. Colonel/Proto/Mega: But- Shadow Woman: (cuts them off) Medi's right I need to rest but I should be better by tomorrow. (Everyone silently walks out of the room, Lan heads back home while Chaud and Baryl stay behind to do more research on the enemy)
