Mispurpose - Part 5 (name by @niightroses) part 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/402259213/ part 4: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/415003545/ The silhouette seemed to have a beak, with a long tail creeping down the edge of the structure. The building itself was ruined, it looked like it would have been an old castle, with a big hole where the entrance would have been. There were slanted rocks covering random areas around the plains. Had this castle always been here, and he didn’t notice it, or did it just appear? He thought that was unlikely, maybe he didn’t notice the castle, he *did* go on a slightly different path this time, but it’s not *that* much different from usual...is it? No matter, he didn’t mind as long as he arrived to town on schedule, but that creature on the castle, scared him. He trotted lowly through the tall grass of the plains; a bit paranoid the beaked figure was watching him. Poking his head above the grass to get another look, he noticed it was gone; and struck with confusion, he stared at it, until finally he heard its wingbeats landing behind him with a thump. Max turned slowly to face it, a giant birdlike dragon sort of creature; one he’d never seen or heard of in any fairytales. It resembled a pigeon, which didn’t scare him, but its glaring eyes and sharp fangs said otherwise. Its ears were up as it looked at him. “Hey, what’s a puppy like you doing here?” Its scratchy voice broke him out of his thoughts. The bird dragon’s eyes were suddenly filled with curiosity, but he could tell it wanted him to hurry up before it clawed his face off. “O-oh, I’m just passing through, mr...uhh,” Max stuttered, suddenly stopped by the fearsome bird dragon. “It’s *Mrs.* Slither to you,” She corrected him, “but in all honesty, I don’t mind what you call me.” Her tone was casual, as if she’s been waiting here forever just waiting for someone to show up and talk to her. “So, why are you out here, where are you travelling?” Slither asked eagerly as she neatly sat down in the grass. “I’m just looking for the village to buy some supplies.” Max answered her promptly. She looked up to her left, glaring at the woods, “The village, eh? Where all those cats and dogs live? They’re annoying, in my opinion,” She said, looking down at him with her squinting blue eyes, “they always come here to ‘slay’ me because I’m an ‘evil beast’ that is *soooo* dangerous. I just live here, ya know? I’m not gonna hurt ya unless you try to steal the gem on my neck! Some pets they are.” “Oh, yeah, what is that gem anyway? If you don’t mind me asking.” “It’s a special gem which is supposed to hold infinite power or something, in all honesty, I’m not sure what it actually does. My parents told me it was really important and that I should guard it with my life. I’ve never questioned them, I mean, what if it *does* hold infinite power? I can’t let it get into the wrong claws, ya know?” She answered him with an awkward stop at the end, as if she wanted to add more but didn’t want to bore him. A jewel with infinite power? Surely it wouldn’t be entrusted to such a talkative and casual dragon; and worst of all, she wasn’t the most threatening dragon in the world, at least compared to fairy tale dragons. The front of her body was mostly pigeon-like; pigeon wings, pigeon talons, that sort of thing. Except her beak was sharper than a hawk’s with little fangs poking out, and she also had dark orange horns with a pair of ears to match. The other half was more dragonlike, however, consisting of dragon claws, green frills running down her back, which connected to her tail. Max didn’t know what her parents saw in her, but he assumed there may be more to her than he thought; that didn’t stop him from fearing her anyway, however. “Yeah,” Max felt the need to reply, even when he had nothing to say, “I guess you have a fair point.” this one was big part 6 might be coming out soon but I'll have to find out what the thumbnails will be
