I normally wouldn't join any new Pokémon RPs as of late but I am joining this one mainly because "The Loner Eevees" holds a place of nostalgia :> Here's a personality type I haven't really tried to RP before, wonder how it'll go... Personality: A hot-tempered and restless individual-- Sparx is very eager to prove himself. He rises easily to a challenge. In a fight-or-flight situation, he will almost always try to fight first. When he is displeased by something, he won't hesitate to voice his displeasure. He can't leave things unfinished, which leads to overexerting himself a lot. He's rough around the edges, and will often pretend not to care in order to keep up his cool image, but despite that he does have a hidden soft spot. Backstory: Sparx was born an Eevee with the name Lyn. Since he was very young, he had a fascination with stormy weather and in particular felt drawn towards the lightning. He knew that when he evolved, he wanted to become a Jolteon. When he was 15 years old he came across a thunderstone. Knowing that it was his time, he was filled with a thrill like no other as he touched his paw to it... But something went wrong. As the light enveloped Sparx, there was a brief moment, like a thunderclap. When he became aware of what had happened, he recoiled in shock and dismay. Instead of sleek, golden Jolteon fur and slender legs, he was tawny-colored with darker paws and ear tips... Extra: -He changed his name to "Sparx" because "Lyn" wasn't cool enough for him. -His fur instinctively fluffs out when he gets mad or frightened, which to his annoyance doesn't help him to look cool or intimidating. Although, when this happens it sticks out in rigid spikes that are uncomfortable to touch. -He usually doesn't like being called "cute" and gets offended when he is treated like a child.
