This is just a single sprite with the whirl effect applied to it. Very simple to make, and satisfying to watch. Click the stage to hide/show controls. Use the controls to switch costumes, set the amount of whirl effect applied, the animation speed, or click "GO CRAZY!" to see some cool moiré patterns. I might add more costumes from time to time.
