You must make the sprite invisible, to have the question in the space above the input box and not in a speech balloon. How is it possible to yet see the sprite? Here's the trick. Duplicate the sprite. Make one copy visible and the other invisible. The inviisble sprite does the 'asking'. Use broadcasts to make the visible sprite respond.
