For the first background, you don't have to worry about anything. For the second background, press the space bar when bat finishes talking, and you will see. Same with the 3rd and 4th backgrounds, except for the 3rd one you have to press the down arrow, and the 4th one you have to press the right arrow. For the final background you don't have to hit anything.
