He is at least 100 years old he was created by a guy who is evil a long time a go. He can reach speeds up to 700 mile per hour while bolt can run 750 miles per hour. Iron Bolt's so fast because he has a rocket under him. Which is cool. Iron Bolt does not look like he is made of iron because he is just that old.
