This is Korine, my depressed reaper bean. She's a gray wolf with amber-yellow eyes (the eyes are undecided). Her powers are centered around light and dark, life and death. On a chilly day, she found a box left in the middle of the woods where she was walking around. Inside was a little red fox kit, skinny, hungry, and terrified. He also appeared to have been born with his tongue sticking out. Korine gently convinced him that she was good, took him home, and named him Farrine They lived in Korine's den for a long time, then one day there was a fight between where they lived and the kingdom Korine came from. Farrine was told to stay in the den, and Korine went to fight. But Farrine was smart and restless, as all foxes are, and he ran down to where the battle was, saw Korine, and jumped in front of her just in time to block a blast of magic that was shot at her. The battle was soon over, and Korine went to find where her foster child was, and saw him lying on the ground, weak and dying. She was scared. "Farrine, I told you to stay in the den!" Said Korine, angry but not in any way furious. Farrine replied, "I know..." He coughed a little. "...But I couldn't leave you here to die alone." Flashbacks. The box. Rescuing him. Korine suddenly realized that Farrine had saved her, and curled around him, tears welling up in her eyes. She began to sing "You Are My Sunshine", her voice cracking as Farrine breathed his final breaths. It started raining, and Korine carried his body into the nearby trees and stayed curled around him all night. The next morning, it was ironically bright and sunny. Korine carried Farrine to her - no, THEIR - den, then brought him a little ways into the forest to bury him, leaving a trail of dead grass and ferns in her wake. She buried him, and put a charm on his grave to never let the plant life around there die or be snow-covered. Korine was then depressed and rarely used her life powers or socialized with anybody. Soon, she met Decker (Ace's son), who reminded her so much of Farrine, and brought her happiness once again. Also I was thinking of MAYBE shipping her with King. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry I had to hit you with the feels for this occasion, but I really wanted to make this project.
