Completely alienated from "Just 12". This is just a straightforward 'color cycling' animation. I made it to acknowledge "8 block rainbow remix" IS the reigning codegolf champ in this challenge. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/421038342 Pretenders to the crown were cutting so many corners that the resulting animation became trivial. That's a trail of remixes that is bound to end in 3 blocks: hat block, loop, effect. This project demonstrates such an ending. Nothing to see here, people. Move along.
