Nintendo announced two days ago that they have officially ended production of the entire Nintendo 3DS family. The 3DS has died after almost ten years; now Nintendo will only be making content for the Switch until they announce a new mobile phone game or they tease a new console. (Yes, a new Nintendo console will be coming before the end of this century, so look it up if you're curious.) I had tons of fond memories with my 3DS. I began playing the Animal Crossing games on this system, and the first game from the series I owned was New Leaf. The only starters I remember having in my town were Roald and Big Top (Big Top eventually moved out from what I can recall). I also remember being on the Nintendo eShop just watching the videos and looking at the newest games.
