------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: The Prophetic Dream... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Dipper walked up the Timber Bookstore and knocked at the door) Ashley: (Cracks open the door) Who is it? We're closed today. Dipper: (Greeting her) It's me Dipper Pines! Ashley: (Opens the door all the way) Dipper? Is it really you? Well come on in, sorry if it's a bit messy in here. Dipper: (Nods) Thank you, I came to ask about the meet up today and why you didn't show up. Ashley: (Says while rearranging books) Well we needed to restock some books today. Dipper: (Not falling for this) Come on, even Waddles isn't that stupid to believe nothing is up! Ashley: (Huffs) You're right... that isn't the reason I've been acting strange, but you have to promise not to tell anyone about what I'm about tell you, not even Mabel! Dipper: (Puts is hand up) I swear on our friendship! Ashley: (Nods reassuring herself) Okay, just last night I had another dream... at first it was little visions but in this particular one I could hear and see something.... Dipper: (Shocked) Really? What do you think it means? Ashley: (Laughs) You would have to know what is to understand, well here's what it was... (Another Flashback to the Night Before: This was in the Dreamscape) Ashley: (Confused) Where am I? ???: (Nervous) Soon he'll return to Gravity Falls, and get his revenge! Ashley: (Still confused) Who are you? ???: (Looks at her) You'll find out soon young Ashley, and just expect a heap of danger coming to pass! Ashley: (Looks to see the figures fading away) Wait! What do you mean by that! ???: (Sternly says as they fade away) As two heroes return and the land seems fine fear the creature with two red eyes! Ashley: (Confused) Two red eyes? Can you at least tell me their name? ???: (Nods) His name is D-a-r-k- (Then Ashley woke up/ Flashback ends) Dipper: (Shocked) That does sound like a vision... two heroes, does that mean me and Mabel? Ashley: (Nods) That sounds correct, and I stayed home today because I was doing research on this Red Eyed Beast. In the time here I've found something that might be this thing... (Ashley pulls out an old Folk lore book) Dipper: (Reading the title) The Legend of Darkneous? Ashley: (Nods) Yes, according to this book Darkneous was a creature of pure darkness, banished thousands of years ago for trying to destroy the Balance in Powers. Dipper: (Even more confused) Balance of Powers? This is insane... what exactly did he do to break that law? Ashley: (A little hesitant) Let's just say he was part of a five creature council and he not only murdered one of the other creatures but attempted to banish another. Dipper: (Now scared) Yikes! Ashley: (Closing the book) Well that's how things use to go... anyways about the meet up- (An explosion is heard outside) Dipper: (Scared) What was that! Ashley: (Grabs her baseball bat) I'm not sure... but I'll bring this just in case. Dipper: (Nods) Sounds good, but we'll have to hurry it sounded like the explosion was close to the Mystery Shack... Ashley: (Now even more angry) I'm coming Madison! (The two ran down the road to get to the Mystery Shack before it's too late!)
