------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: A Distress Signal ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Lan woke up to Megaman screaming to him that he has an email, he fell off his bed) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan: (Groaning because he hit his head against the ground) Ok, ok, I'm up! what is so important Megaman that you had to wake me up on the first day of summer after a hard last day of 7th grade? Megaman: (Looks at him, does a face palm, then tells him) Well, you got an email from Baryl, and even if Colonel just got his data revived and if it's summer break we still have missons from them Lan! Lan: (Gets up, rubs his head, quickly get dressed then looks at the email) It says: Dear Lan, we've gotten some alarming news, our tech team just got a distress signal from outside of Netopia, to the north. Now, we know you may be a bit rusty after a whole year of no major events, so we asked Chaud and Protoman to come along as well. Anyways, please check this out and find out who sent this signal. From: Baryl Megaman: Well Lan, wanna check this out? Lan: (Gets a smile on his face) Of course! Along with some action, we'll also get to see Chaud and Protoman again! Come on Megaman, lets rock and roll! Megaman: (Looks at him shaken) Wait?! Tell Mom your heading out Lan, she'll wanna know you're going off somewhere. Lan: (Rolls his eyes) Ok Megaman. (Lan runs out of his room to see his mom in the kitchen, washing her dish because she had already had eaten breakfast. Before leaving Lan quickly ate the toast on his plate.) Mom: (Turns around to look at Lan) Oh, hello sweetie, what's the rush for it's not like you have school today. Lan: Hey Mom! I'm heading out to meet up with Chaud. Mom: (Looks a little shocked that he's going to see Chaud) Really? That's wonderful, it's been a year since you've seen him so it'll be great to catch up with him and Protoman. Well remember to be back by seven! Lan: Alright lets go Megaman! (Starts to go out the door) Megaman: Don't worry Mom, I'll remind him to be home by seven! Lan: (Says ask he walks out the door) YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
