Music isn't mine it's @ClareBear202's and I didn't pick it so go compliment her on her music choices not me XD Oh--and I also pulled out some highlights digitally because not one of 6 different erasers got it right. DX Also, please when making your comments don't say anything about adding color. Plain B&W pencil is a valid art form in itself and art doesn't have to have color to be interesting. Eeeeee. I am so excited about this picture. :D I have been SUPER DUPER into Star Wars recently, and, well, when I get really into something, my natural response is: draw it. So here we have a collage thing of 3 pictures, all drawn in pencils (mostly a mechanical one, actually--unconventional for drawing, but I find it easier to use) and referenced from scenes from The Empire Strikes Back. Sure, I still love drawing digital cartoon cats, but what I've discovered I love even more is doing pencil portraits of people from movies and TV shows. X3 For some reason, that's my preferred method of drawing humans: traditional and realistic. (Perhaps this is because if I don't do it super realistically the person looks wrong.) I like to watch until I find a shot I like, then pause it, go frame by frame until I get a clear picture, and draw it. It's just so satisfying to see the drawing taking shape, and even though sometimes I end up getting mad and erasing part or all of the picture because it doesn't look right, a lot of the time it looks great and I'm very proud of it--more proud than I ever am of my cat drawings. :3 I'll keep drawing cats, of course--it's fun--but this is quickly becoming my preferred type of art. So, more Star Wars pencil art to follow. *fangirls*
