[Loading File . . . eRr0R- f1L3 n0T f0Und_dd-dd . . .] ... Hi. If you're reading this, then, uh, well, here's some info about me. I'm Lil0. I don't have a gender, or, that's what my file said. I can barely remember. I'd be.. let's see... 15 years by now..? 15. I'm 15. And I'm mostly blue, my screen is a darker blue than my fur. Er- I think so. I haven't seen a mirror in a few years. I'm sorry, should I restart? No? O-okay.. er, where was I? Oh, I like being alone, which is probably why I'm an INFP, heh. I also like soft stuff, pillows, feathers, etc. Does that sound weird? Saying etc? Er, anyways, I dislike people.. school... rough things... myself... oh, sorry! Th-that sounded too much like self-hate. Okay, I-I'll keep going.. Uhh.. I also dislike being interviewed... like right now... heheh.. uhm, that's i- [You Hear Static.] ... [File Loaded.] Hi, it's Mar here. Sorry about that.. it kinda got out of hand. [Please load the file at the top before reading this, otherwise it may g̷l̴i̸t̸c̵h̵.] I sit alone at the edge of the sidewalk, my paws drifting across the woodchips as I stare at the sky. The other kids should be eating lunch, except me. I'm the only Electricat in my grade, the only one in my class. Of course I get made fun of. I'm different. My screen switches to a sad face by default. :( I notice immediately and cover it with my paws, hoping nobody notices. Elena catches a glimpse, I see, peeking through my paws. I held back a sigh as she hurtled down the slide and casually walks over to me. "Is the wittle itty bitty Electricat sad?" she mews in a slick tone. "Leave me alone," I hiss feebly, forcing my screen to make a neutral face. Elena snorts. "Don't deny it, you're sad because you wish you were normal like us." Her words stab through the air and anger bottles up inside of me, my paws itching to claw her face off. And then something weird happens. As I stare at her with slitted eyes, everything freezes. My body goes rigid, my screen making a face I can't seem to translate. What's it saying? E.. something.. I can't move anything, not my mouth, not even my eyes, continually staring at my most feared and hated person. Elena doesn't seem to notice the change, and she keeps on blabbing about how I'm a outsider and an oddball and junk like that. But when she finally decides to look back at me, she notices. "Hey, you frozen?" she laughs. "Probably a glitch. A weirdo in the normal world AND in the Electricat one.." Her voice starts to fade, and so does her features. I'm staring at black now, and my first thought is, 'Did I run out of battery?' But this isn't out of battery. I can still feel my body, rigid, sitting on the sidewalk edge. I can feel myself standing up, except I don't want to stand up. It's like my body was moving on it's own... I hear a high pitched scream, and I feel my paw raise on the air. What's happening? I still can't see anything, staring at darkness. I start to panic and try to lower my hand. It does, except against something. SomeONE. Another scream, laced with pain. I panic more, feeling trapped, helpless. What's happening? What's happening? What's happeni- I fade into the darkness, the screams fade along with me, until I wake up with a bright light shining over my face. I shield my screen. I ask my question out loud, since I can move. "What's happening?" "Maybe you should answer that," a stern voice answers me. "Maybe tell us why you scratched Elena's eye?" I did what? Trying to be as honest as I can, I turn to where I heard the voice. "I- I don't really remember anything.. sir.." Everything started to come into view as I see the nurse's office, the nurse turning off the light, my father and mother, both looking teary eyed. I look at stern voice man and see the vice principal looking very annoyed in a chair. "Are you sure? Cause it seemed like you knew what you were doing." "I d-don't know, okay..?" I mew, trying to make myself sound forceful. Instead my voice wavers and falls into a small sob at the end. The vice principal's facial features soften. "It's okay.. we believe you. You're a nice kid." "What happened?" I say in a whisper, repeating my question again. The nurse pipes up. "Some kids say they saw something red on your fa- er, screen, and some say that you didn't have anything on your screen at all. Elena's too frightened to say anything, so the truth is... we don't really know." I curl up into a ball on the cot I'm on, shaking. I needed to know why I froze like that, why everything went black. And, just as I' thinking that, everything does go black again. I would have laughed at the irony but I'm too scared to do anything. Of course, I couldn't have laughed anyways. I'm paralysed again. I hear my mother's scream, along with other adults' woven into it. My paw raises again, and I squeeze my eyes shut.
