My first test of how to use digital oil paints. Total Time: 3 Hours Used Adobe Photoshop Made as a rushed birthday present for my sister :) Why make her look happy (the cliche way) when you could have a lasting impact with an uncanny portrait XD Reflection: Looks ugly, but as my first time using oil paints in photoshop, it doesn't look half bad at all! This is traced btw, but I think having a good present for my sister and my time takes priority over good art practices. Even then, I should look at the overall canvas a bit more next time, so I can actually use my colours better. ultimately my lack of experience in oils and the rushed nature of this work didn't help, but it was a valuable experience in taking my first steps into digital oil painting. In fact, I think I'll do some more later on! (at least the place below the chin looks pretty good)
