hey friends!! i have finally done something that i've wanted to do for awhile: i redrew my redraw of the canna lily girl! original design is by @sleight. if you'd like to see the first redraw, it's here! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/195887776/ (this project also has the link to the original art project). ~ press space to go through the pictures ~ i didn't pay too much attention to the original pieces when i was drawing this tbh; i got all the core elements but as you can see i made her hair extra curly even though the original drawing had pretty straight hair lol. what do you guys think?? have i improved? i definitely like my new style a lot more :) it's a little hard to see them all thanks to scratch's stunning visual quality, so if you want a better comparison it might be helpful to view the original redraw alongside this one ^^; i really did take the hair to the next level of curly didn't i. alas. one thing i do like better from the second rendition is the top; i feel like i got much better flow in that one than in the most recent. of course i don't like much of anything from the first drawing haha. i did make the hair nice and shiny though. who knows where i'll go from here, but i hope to redraw this again in a year or two! if the world is still around by then (: have a lovely day my friends and good luck surviving 2020! ♥ ~ song: lost in the rhythm by jamie berry ~
