Still, anger boiled in his veins as he looked at Rapunzel, especially after what he’d seen in the house of Yesterday’s Tomorrow. He knew what he had to do. As the princess glided down the magical path towards the moonstone, a surge of adrenaline shot through his body, and he dashed behind her. She hadn’t noticed, because of the awe she was in. As Rapunzel stood in front of the dazzling opal, Gazing at its beautiful glow, ready to touch it, Monty made his final decision, and grabbed the moonstone right before she could. The power zapped through him as he struggled to keep his grip on it, and blue light exploded across the palace. Rapunzel stepped back and gasped in horror. “Monty,” she reeled backward, “What are you doing?!” The man stepped back, barely able to grasp the powerful, glowing stone, and grunted, “This is my destiny, now, princess!”. One final, powerful blast of blinding, blue light shot through the palace. Everyone stumbled back, in a terror-filled shock. Slowly, the light died away. Rapunzel and her companions regained their sight, opening their eyes. The last of the blue blast fell away, revealing Monty, surrounded by a half-nest of black rocks, his grey hair now an unnatural electric blue, and his uncle-vibes outfit was replaced by an all-black armor made from black rocks. On the right side of his chest, the opal was still glowing, giving off a blue-static. The once sweet old man glared angrily at them all, a bit fatigued. The crew gaped in horror as they saw him in this new look. He stood and grunted, “You should be more careful who you trust, Princess!”
