WINDOWS 2 IS OUT!!! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/791273293/ Windows 1.9.9 will, sadly, be the last major update. Maybe small bug patches will come out, but nothing more major. This is the world's worst OS (Operating System) The mouse is your mouse (Obviously) - off center because it looks better. Up arrow to erase all text in google search bar (Backspace doesn't work) Letter and number keys to type in search Update Log: V1.0: Started with game and app store. V1.1: Added an unusable google, as well as an error message when you tried to use it. V1.2: Doesn't exist. Whoops. V1.3: Actually let you type in google, but enter doesn't work. Also removed the google error message. V1.4: Added Recycling Bin. V1.5: Recycling bin makes a separate screen pop up, added warnings to google. V1.6: Recycling Bin actually kind of works. However, you can't go back to home screen after clicking Recycling Bin. V1.6.3: Improved the cursor sprite, also made another costume, a hand icon, which shows when hovering the mouse over any of the apps or the exit button in chrome. V1.6.4: Added a new version of the hand icon, as well as a new costume for the hand only seen inside the project that shows all 3 iterations of the hand (I tried to make a better hand originally and failed, so there are 3 versions.) V1.7: Completely revamped the game, along with the game icon. Added a new message that shows when you win the game. If you lose, nothing happens and you get returned to the home screen. Also slightly altered the "Click anywhere to close" message that pops up. Made the worlds SMALLEST edit to the chrome icon. Also made a tiny change to the recycling bin's icon position. V1.7.5: Added a new map to the game. V1.7.7: "Improved" the chrome icon V.1.7.8: It's time for...CHROME ICON 2.0! Made the chrome icon into more of a circle. Also improved the Recycling Bin and Games icons to be a little more centered when you hover over them. Click anywhere to close is also slightly better. V.1.7.8b: The chrome icon is slightly improved AGAIN. V.1.8: FILES! Empty, for now, but at least it looks good! Also chrome looks slightly better. And the errors are more polished. The icons are also more centered. V.1.8.3: System32! DO NOT DRAG IT TO THE RECYCLING BIN AND DELETE IT! V.1.9: Emails! Only 1, though. Also ERROR and CONGRATULATIONS appear on the app store error and the game win screen respectively V.1.9.5: Endings! They're here because why not? This doesn't change gameplay, just a nifty little feature. Currently only 1. Or is there? V.1.9.6: 2nd ending added! V.1.9.7: MUSIC! Thanks to the inspiration @ANormalNoob has given me, the music folder, in honor of his choice of Super Loud Wii Sports music, is the Super Loud Mii Theme. Another ending, WINDOWS 2 CELEBRATION, a teaser for my NEW GAME (not related to windows), a color change to the games app icon, CONFETTI! A small background change for the windows 2 celebration, and a name change back to the OG way because it looks better. Behold, WINDOWS 1.9.9! (There are endings because why not) The only asset that was not drawn by hand is the Blue Screen of Death. It's so bad that you can't search on google, because enter doesn't work. Also you can't backspace if you screw up (Which is prone to happen, because google is VERY SENSITIVE WITH YOUR INPUTS), so you have to delete it all with up arrow key. Also the search bar glitches when you delete all, since it has to delete the stamp, wait until you stop holding up arrow, show, restamp, and hide. The logic here is also extremely flawed: if you delete System32 the computer crashes, but deleting the Files app that contains System32 does not. Also I added some secret thingy.
