Background info: (this is from a roleplay) In an au where "Qibli said yes" to Darkie's offer for animus magic, he's now helping Darkstalker rebuild the night kingdom. But he misses his friends; Winter, Turtle, Kinkajou.. (Darkstalker put a bracelet on Qibli that made him forget Moonwatcher existed. So he has some kind of selective short term memory, unable to keep her in his head even if she introduces herself to him again.) He decides to send a letter asking if they can hang out again. He'll come alone, they choose the place, and they do.. but the only ones who come are Winter, and a Nightwing he'd never met before. Moonwatcher askes him to come back with them, but Qibli starts trying to convince them to come stay at the palace with him. Moon takes off, angry and sad. And Winter takes off after her, informing Qibli he couldn't believe he'd watched the sandwing break her heart a second time. Qibli, confused, drops his open wings at his sides and yells after them, telling Winter to come back. The icewing doesn't even look behind him.
