hello hello! it's your friend mima here after entering a new phase of life: college!! let me tell y'all i was not mentally prepared at all :') i still feel like a wee young lass but here i am going to classes and eating my meals and spending my time without any predominant adult supervision?? it's wild man,, anyway here's my first piece of art completed at college! it's been a long time since i last drew an elf so i figured now is better than never! i also gave her some glowy gold face markings for fun :) the joy of my drawing style is i basically have no reason behind the character designs i do other than aesthetics and the first thing that pops into my head because i never use these characters again ahhahah (": remember kids just because everyone else has their awesome ocs and consistency doesn't mean you can't just have fun and doodle all the time college is going pretty well so far though! as of right now i have a lot more free time than i expected? of course it is only the first week so we don't really have any homework yet. also social activities have taken a hit because of the ol 'rona. speaking of which, i'm so glad to actually be on campus right now. so many colleges are shutting right back down after opening but the one i'm going to is a smaller campus w/ smaller class sizes and basically 0 party life (it's a christian college). so we actually have no cases rn as far as i'm aware. i'm really happy about that and hopefully it stays that way!! we're all wearing masks (except for those people who don't wear it over their nose, c'mon), giving each other at least a little bit more personal space (def not 6 feet but oh well), and washing hands/sanitizing. we also had to get tested before coming on campus so there's that too. i just hope people continue to stay diligent and that we don't have to get sent home. that would really suck. except then maybe i could see my beloved more often, that would be nice. i haven't seen him since i came here and idk when that will change. oh well. i'm hoping i can make more close friends beyond just my roommate. the other girls in my suite are super nice, as are most of the people here, but i haven't gotten a chance to get to know them all super well. hopefully i get more opportunities soon! love you all and i hope you're staying safe! i hope you like the art! i'm going to be working on the contest results and an icon creator soon i hope. maybe even a throwback project for some nostalgia from my middle school days? anyway have a lovely day <3 credits~ song - ji-eun's sunset by city girl art - my college self existential crisis - also me
