Xillasorus actually being the mask surprisingly, with rex being the dinosaur. It should be know that Xillasorus is a mask that when worn, will drain all your life essences out and take control of your body, kind of like a vodo curse. After that you die and Xillasorus will live on for however much time you had left, in this case a good 100 years before Xillasorus dies.
