(2x Flag) PLEASE READ!! Hello Everyone! As you know, I have returned from my very, very long break. Pretty much as soon as I returned, Potato opened his 15k MAP, and asked me if I wanted a part. I of course agreed, not only because he's my friend, but also because I wanted a challenge. I have had a few MAP parts in the past, but they were all... "eh". So I decided to really work on this one. So I told myself it would be a simple, easy, but cool MAP part, then I got a few seconds in and completely uprooted the whole "simple and easy" idea. It became more complicated than I had originally imagined, but turned out super cool. So after almost 8 hours of animating (some of which were me just going back and changing entire sections) I clicked "save project" for the last time, sat back, and watched my MAP part again. I almost teared up. If you haven't watched it yet, do so now, then read the rest of what I wrote here... ---------------------- ok so you should have seen it by now. I hope you liked it! So let me explain the plot a little. We start off with my OC going through a break-up (apparently he had a gf? I don't.) and we see him really upset. Then everything changes to Black. But not for long. Potato appears in the top left corner turning that half of the screen white. Let me explain the color's significance real quick: Black- the color often associated with sadness, or hopelessness. My OC was surrounded by black. White- The color of joy and hope, Potato came to share his joy and hope with me (to make me feel better) So we see all of the fancy black-and-white stuff go on, then it transitions back into full color. You see me and Potato talking. It starts with us laughing, then we turn serious. Then back to happy. Why? Well as a friend you should start a conversation with a friend that needs it to solve a problem. And I always like to start off with a good laugh. If you are struggling through a hard time, talk to a friend. And if you know your friend is going through a hard time, go talk to them. It will help 99% of the time. Trust me, help them. ---------- ok so Potato has become a really good friend and actually helped me through a tough time, so this MAP part is for him, not just because it's his MAP, but because he did this for me (No, it wasn't a break-up, it was something else). He was there for me when I needed it. So, Potato, here you go.
