This is a rant about the popularity of digital art over the traditional media: Why has it become so popular? Is it just because of the clean lines? Why is it so expensive to buy the good materials for digital art? Because people know that these medias are preferred over traditional medias, and therefore people are willing to pay more to get it. I find this frustrating that my art will sometimes be dumped for something of either the same quality or lower quality digital art days later. So why people, why does it have to be like this? Why can't the traditional medias be appreciated in the same way? This happens with almost any art, composing music, writing stories, even dancing are printed out on paper instead of writing it out with a good old fashioned pencil or pen. If no one does anything about this soon, traditional media will be lost forever...
