Welcome to the Village! The development of this project is on hold. You may be able to claim a house (if you were following me on the 25 Sep 2020). If not, sorry, but I will not be updating this project at this time. Follow this studio for updates: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/27347005/ Use the arrow keys or tap and hold to move around. Occupied houses have a proper driveway. Click occupied houses to see who lives there. Click the map icon in the upper left corner to get an overview. Click the map to go to that part of the Village. If you have saved a house, a house icon will appear in the upper right corner. This will take you to your house. Note that if you pick out a house and click Save, this will be stored in the cloud, and other users will see that this is your house. You can't change your choice of location. Unfortunately, there's not much else to see... yet. I have lots of ideas as to what could be added, but I'm happy to hear yours in the comments.
If you have a house in the Village, be sure to join the Village forum to contribute, and to get notifications about life in the Village: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/27347005/ If you're a Villager, you can try out experimental features by activating turbo mode before you click the green flag. There you will see anything I might be working on at the moment. This project was originally made to celebrate 800 followers. All code and art by me (@kriblo). The song is English Country Garden, originally by James "Jimmie" Rodgers. The reason only followers can select and save houses, is that this information is stored in the cloud as Follower index (4 digits), along with house colors (2 digits). It wouldn't be possible to store the usernames for each house. Followers list last retrieved 25 September 2020. It will not be updated while development of this project is on hold. #interactive #description(My 800 followers project. The idea was to create a virtual village, which would evolve. But development of this project is on hold.)
