[Prepare for My Horrible English] - - - - - - - - - Now before you say that this was drawn ugly, it’s because I was focusing on drawing the concept of the art not how good or badly drawing it is. - - - - - - - - - Ok anyways, let me just explain what’s going on here. I was thinking of a hairstyle for Yume, but I didn’t know what it was gonna be, so I drew some random hairstyles (one of them was a rejected hairstyle from nintendo in splatoon 2). Then after that i just decided to combine the 2 other hairstyles be because they looked good, afterwards I put her two ponytails down a bit For the pupils of Yume, I was thinking of making its look like the pupils of the Squid Sisters, but (in my opinion) it didn’t look good to me. So I decided to make them circular instead For the irises of Yume, I decided to make them Purple (But I also liked Pink and pink is just the shading) because that’s her Main Color, but I decided to remove the pink shading (because it people will think the irises are purple fading to pink) and changed her main color into magenta because I REALLY couldn’t decided between Pink and Purple. For the eyebrows, I decided them to be purple (yes, same reason, and I also liked pink too), but then I thought making the eyebrows gradient fading to purple would be a good idea, so yeah there you have it. One last thing, I know you’re wondering why does Yume have black spots at the edge of her tentacles. Oh well, it’s because I didn’t know what color her tinktures should be since her hair is rainbow colored, so I made them black, but they didn’t look so good so I removed them. Okay, this is pretty much everything, enjoy I guess.
