Those who aren’t in the course are welcome to take part, however you won’t be graded or receive critique. I decided to share this one a few days early so you all could get a head start! This first week is optional but highly recommended! You won’t receive a lower grade if you skip this one, but things will be a lot easier moving forwards if you familiarize yourself with the world of professional animation! Reading and video assignments: https://history-of-animation.webflow.io https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/-PsmLDFaHEI https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/M2ORkIrHUbg (The quiz is inside the project. I can’t exactly keep you from going back and looking, but the quiz is most effective when done from memory!) Flow tips: -You shouldn't be using up any more than thirty minutes a day maximum on these classes. Here are some tips to keep the time down!! DAY 1: Watch the videos and read the link. Come up with ideas for your animation and fill out the quiz. DAY 2: Sketch out your animation and start thinking about your essay! DAYS 3-5: Work on and finish your animation! It doesn’t have to be lined or colored, as long as it’s readable and shows your current abilities ^^ DAYS 6-7: Write your essay! If you're still struggling, try cutting down the time or simplifying the design on your animation! REMIX THIS PROJECT WITH THE COMPLETED ASSIGNMENT OR IT MAY NOT BE GRADED!
