Here is my entry for this dragon! Her name is Passionfruit! Name: Passionfruit Age: 26 turns/years Sex: female Backstory: Passionfruit is a crossbreed between book series: her mother was an skywing from WoF and her father a great blue dragon from pern. Because of this, she has often been shunned, for her mixed abilities. However, she's one of the strongest dragons between the two worlds. As big as Canth(from pern), with large wings and fire from her skywing mother and the telekinesis abilities of her father. Nobody from Pyrhiah likes that she speaks with her mind, and no one in pern likes that she can breath fire without firestone first. Both worlds call her unnatural for her abilities. She grew up in Pyrhiah with her mother. If you read the dragonriders of pern, you know they have mating flights and blue dragons rarely get a chance to mate. Because of this, when her father met with the skywing, who was also looking for a mate, they paired off. Unfortunately, the skywing did not know then that the great blue dragon had a rider. When she found out, she chased him off pyrhiah and hoped her chicks would turn out normal. continued in notes and credits
Unfortunately, Passionfruit did not turn out like a skywing, nor like the blue dragon who was her father. They found out early that she spoke the language of pern, one of the mind. It took years to teach her to speak like a pyrhian dragon, and she still had the unsettling habit of using her mindspeak. Unfortunately, there are two other abilities found in each dragon on pern, that pyrhian dragons were not expecting. Unfortunately, she never was able to teleport to visit her father. She did posses his telekinesis abilities though, and caused much panic when she simply lifted a boulder by looking at it. After that, she was treated so poorly that she ran off. Around that time, her father came looking for her. She spent the rest of her childhood on pern, where she was mistreated for having natural fire and no human partner, as well as speaking a different language. Fortunately, she won everyone's respect on pern when she fought with the lead battalion against thread, and she has lived happily on pern since.
