The process that a concept car goes through before being green-lighted for production is a harsh one. Spurred by increasingly stringent safety and emissions regulations, radical curves and ideas are phased out for milquetoast reality checks that eventually form a bland transportation device whose only remaining ostentatiousness lies in the overzealous words of the press release. But what if this could all be ignored? What if the car could be released straight away without any regard to 'rules,' complete with the spaceship steering, design language seemingly inspired by thirty different types of swords, and mad naturally aspirated V12? Well, here we are. It's the Intensa Emozione. Is it the future? Not quite. But that's only because it's much, much better.
Everything by me. Apollo Automobil GmbH This is probably my favourite modern hypercar - the design is simply astounding in every way. Combine the design of the Apollo with the engineering masterclass of Koenigsegg, and you've basically got yourself the best supercar ever made.
