So this project signifies a couple things- 1. I am mentally fed up with artfight and I’m s o ready for it to end X”D Guys I promise I’ll be more active when it’s over in addition to shoving a crap ton of art at you- 2. The more followers I get, the more picky and uptight I am with what project I share. But I figure you guys must be okay with my cruddy ocs and their weirdness or you would have left so I’m gonna try to be less weird about my stuff. That all being said, welcome to the wonderland au! (Lynx version) Based more on the song than the movie or book tbh- This is an au of the ocs in Herons story, which is nice because it gives me a chance to use them in a way other than their permanently undeveloped story heh But anyways- ‘Wonderland’ in this au is a nine story tall, Vegas style casino/nightclub/hotel/you name it, it’s got it inside. And it’s run exclusively by assassins. And they all go by nicknames only, for safety reasons. Wonderland, to most, is a fun (albiet expensive) place to go enjoy yourself, in most any way imaginable (this place is huge). But the primary focus is on ‘Alices’. For a substantial amount of money, you can select an ‘Alice’. Within a week or two, Alice will find herself in Wonderland, she will be killed in wonderland, and in a week or two more, Alice will be far from wonderland, publicly declared dead. But to the eyes of the public, she will never go missing. It’s a long complex process, yes, but Wonderland does much more than murder: it makes people disappear. Alice will have no existing evidence that she went to wonderland, entered wonderland, or died in wonderland, and more importantly, her death will be absolutely impossible to trace back to you. And yeah that still seems a little complex and excessive, but that’s because ‘Alice’ is never an ordinary person. ‘Alice’ is a person of wealth and of status. A person that you can’t just kill with a brick to the head without a life sentence and half the world finding out. Alice could be anyone from a famous actor to the president of the United States. It doesn’t matter how rich or famous, she’ll be gone without a trace, and most importantly, with no consequences for you. Still pretty confusing I know but I’ll introduce the characters and make it easier still. Ankh (or Mad Hatter) is the twisted mind behind Wonderland, and in a way it’s first Alice. He effectively made himself nonexistent, especially in the eyes of the law. The only people that know he exists are his assassins. All of them have no records, birth certificates, or legal names to speak of, theyve all been erased. The go only by their nicknames, and always wear masks. All three of them are involved in the actual killing of Alice, but all three have additional responsibilities. Lena, or Cheshire, Cat, is responsible for two things. One, is getting Alice to wonderland. If you want an untraceable murder, you can’t just send a postcard, inviting your vip target to Wonderland. Cheshire will get Alice to Wonderland one way or another, wether its by Alices intent or a planned accident, but more importantly, she’ll ensure that absolutely nobody knows that’s where Alice is. In the public’s eyes, Alice could be on a cruise, visiting family, or even sick in a hospital. Cheshire’s second job comes in after Alice has been killed. She’ll keep Alice ‘alive’ in the eyes of the world until the time of her death is announced. Cheshire will spend hours, editing photos, recordings, audio clips, or whatever else, and employing the use of social media to make Alice seem like all is normal. She’ll use Alices corpse as a puppet if she has to, but nobody will ever be able prove Alice is in Wonderland. Mason, or March Hare, the sadist of the group, has one job. And that job is Alice’s death. Alice’s body can’t go missing from the face of the earth, she has to be found dead by the public, and that’s what he does. Fakes her death- or rather, the death that’s assumed by the evidence surrounding her body. Alice’s ‘death’ could be assassination, a car accident, or an illness. March loves his work a little too much, and is very meticulous. Even the best detectives wouldn’t be able to trace Alices death to Wonderland, if past March’s fake death scene at all. If Ankh really lets him have his fun he’ll tie her death in with a variety of complex criminal motives, to keep the cops busy for months to come. Heron, or White Rabbit, has the job least involved with Alice, but perhaps the most cryptic. He had two jobs actually. One is cleanup- During the process of Alice’s murder, sometimes other people get involved. If those people don’t cooperate exactly, or if they start getting a little too knowing, they need ‘cleaned up’. Less cautious measures are taken, but he’ll still lure them to Wonderland and kill them. Rarely are they important enough for Cheshire or March to get involved with them though. The second and oddest job Rabbit has is overseeing a thing called ‘The Fridge.’ (Continued below)
(Read above first ^^) The fridge is where all of the dead Alices are cryogenically stored until March is ready for them. And depending on the sort of ‘death’ March as planned, White Rabbit will have to adjust how slow/fast the body decays, add or remove wounds, and sometimes even grow diseases inside the corpse. It’s nasty work but he never so much as grimaces. Sometimes Wonderland’s guests will get glimpses of the assassins, usually when they’re retrieving their Alice, but usually don’t think anything if them. Wonderland is filled with hidden passages, balconies, and corridors for the assassins to come and go without being seen. They try to leave Wonderland as little as possible, and are ridiculously cautious when they do. They’re practically invisible. Hatter, however, never leaves. Ever- he only manages what the three are doing. Now technically there are four assassins- but one, Cyrus, is a rookie, and is still in training. I haven’t decided what name or mask to give him, so any suggestions would he appreciated ^^ As far as personalities go, they all have the same personalities they have in canon, just not the same relationships with eachother, or backstories. The main difference is that all of them are a bit more money motivated, which is why they’re in the business they’re in, as it may be the best paying job on the planet. I hope you enjoyed my dark cryptic nonsensical AU! Feel free to ask questions ^^ Maybe in a week or two I’d be willing to roleplay this au we’ll see- This is still very much in development.
