hello my friends! i would like to introduce you to my dear children! and by that i mean i want to show you my plants :) i have six total houseplants and i love them all. i have organized them in the order that i got them in. use the arrow keys, space bar, or click to see them all! i wanted to draw them all but i did not have time for that :') however i hope you still like the photos! the cover photo is of monica when she was healthy and thriving. initially when her leaves were falling off i looked it up and the first result said it meant the plant was being underwatered.... but then the leaves kept falling off and i looked it up again and it was because of overwatering!! i'm very sad :( she was doing so so well before. she started out one small baby and then she grew so big! but then all her leaves but a few fell off and now i'm sad!! :( i didn't water her for a while though and i'm being sparing with it since so she's mostly okay now i think. it's a learning moment to be sure. remember kids: if your jade plant is dropping leaves, you're overwatering!! please let me know which one is your favorite! i would also love to learn about all of your plants :) i made this with the plant lovers studio in mind so if you are also a plant lover and are not already involved, that might just be the studio for you!! <3 also please pray for monica and cathy ;w; especially for cathy i'm worried about her... she got reeaally jostled up when I was getting her into our new house (she tipped over a bit in the cup holder and me trying to fix it did not help!) now it seems like she's shriveling a bit... :( i did not have much hope that she would grow at all because the growing conditions in my house didn't really match the instructions, but i was so looking forward to seeing her get big! i hope that still happens :/ if not i do have more seeds but it took quite awhile for her to sprout. and i just don't want her to die. :') i'll be moving to college in two weeks so hopefully they're okay on the way there too! i'm hoping the window i'll get will have lots of light for them. have a lovely weekend and i'll hopefully be a bit active for awhile! lol if you read my whole description put this emoji in your comment: ❧ //update from january 2021: cathy died soon after we moved :'( i planted a few new seeds but they have yet to sprout. it can take quite a while though so i'm just going to keep watering them. also most of my plants are not looking too great because frankly they are not getting enough light between the window i have at college and of course the very short winter days. they are also right between the cold window and the heater and that can't be good for them either :( but hopefully come summertime they will be happy again! also i unfortunately decapitated casper when i was moving them home for winter break so that was very sad. luckily i placed his upper half that got broken off back in the dirt and i think it has rooted because it is still alive a month later! the one plant that is truly thriving is claudia. she has grown quite a bit! however pothos plants are quite hardy so i am not surprised she is still doing well :) i also got two new plants from my brother, a dwarf pomegranate plant that i named persephone and an inch plant that i named annalise. however persephone is now dead :( i still water her with my last dredge of hope, but frankly she was grown under a grow light and my poor college dorm window could not hold up to that kind of standard. plus i am used to watering succulents and she is by no means a three-times-a-week-at-most kind of plant! i failed her únù anyway that is how my babies are doing now <33 i also got a fish named gilbert with one of my suitemates so he has been stealing some of my love haha. he is a gem!! perhaps i will post something for him. if you're interested in seeing him though his t1ck t0ck is @fishygilbert lol. thus ends the update//
