I was in a vector mood :) Help I'm going into a Batwing phase frickfrickfrick Sorry, I just can't help developing villain characters to the point where I physically can't think of them as evil any more, and that kind of just happened with Batwing... So, in the night, when I'm trying to sleep, I'll think about my OCs. The OCs I think about would usually be Koloko and the gang or the characters in Xerexes (recently, I had a thonk night about 'Locksmith' and Nat, that was fun), but last night I decided to expand my parameters to Batwing. You already know the whole 'vampire, working for Nebulous, *coughcough* seduced Vantablack, very bad mother to Abyss' but here's what else I have on her: So, Batwing was born...her parents didn't want her because she was a vampire (Vampire Shadow-Cats have those very bad connotations). Like, the day after she was born, Nebulous' Servant (that creepy dude that basically kept Nebulous' e s s e n c e alive in him for a few centuries lol) showed up and took Batwing away (I mean, the parents would've just killed her because ew vampire go away). I haven't exactly figured out what the Servant needed Batwing for, but let's just go with it...I think he needed a murderous killing machine (What he thought of vampires) to do his dirty work. You know, it works, because the blood doesn't go to waste. The Servant regularly kidnapped random Shadow-Cats for Batwing to feed off, and they usually died of blood loss after one or two months. Kid Batwing didn't understand why her food source came from s u f f e r i n g v i c t i m s...so she asked the Servant, who told her that making suffering was all she was good for. That was a big sab moment for Kid Batwing. She tried to go without blood for a few days, just to see what happened...and she basically ended up doing the equivalent of starving oneself and got sick, so she went back to reluctantly embracing her connotations. Wherever she and the Servant went they were met with fear and hate, and it really scared her. She actually got beat up by a bunch of kids one time (that's when this little picture is set)...and this is the wholesome moth moment. So there's this rare species of mildly telepathic moth that can tell when someone's really sad, so they yeet over to cheer that person up with their h e c k i n g c u t e n e s s. Yeah, cute moth picked up Batwing's sab energy and went over to her to cheer her up. And it did. She was like 'ooh, cute moth uwu'...she showed the Servant...and he squished it. That made her >:'T And over the years, all the victims, the Servant's bad parenting, and everyone being like 'ew vampire burn it BURN IT' turned her into the Batwing of the present who we (the regulars) all know and hate. Oh yeah, and the actual Nebulous is good foster dad - he's fine with vampires because one of his best friends from...errr...centuries...ago...was a vampire...you know...he's actually pretty cool for a zombie tyrant from the past *thumbs up* big uwu This Batwing phase is fun :) Project Type: Artwork Art: Me Art program used: Scratch vector OC: Batwing, designed and owned by me (and the cute moff)
