In KFD, there will likely be a game mode called "Item Mode" where the characters can use items to aid them. Here is what each item does: - Super Mushroom: Makes player larger. This increases your range but also makes you an easier target for combo attacks. - Mini Mushroom: Opposite of Super Mushroom. Makes the player so small that they can avoid most attacks. However, they take more damage to attacks and your attack range is significantly decreased. - Banana Peel: Player throws a banana peel which slides across the stage. If an opponent or the player accidentally trips on the peel, they will fall and be left vulnerable for attacks. - Green Shell: It will only go in a straight path when thrown and has little to no pattern. - Red Shell: This shell follows the opponent until it hits them or hits the boundary. It is also faster than the Green Shell. - Hammer: A melee weapon that increases your attack range and strength. -Frying Pan: Acts similarly to the Hammer except it spikes the opponent. - Fire Flower: Multiple small projectiles that bounce off the ground and deal small damage. - Star: Makes the player invincible to attacks and also enhances their own. -Poison Mushroom: Takes away health from player. This is the only item that negatively effects the player. - 1UP Mushroom: Gives the player extra health. - Blue Shell: Acts similarly to the Red Shell but explodes upon contact. - Ice Flower: Acts similarly to the Fire Flower but it freezes the opponent for about 3 seconds. Boomerang Flower: A projectile that comes back to the player. it can be used three times. Boo- Makes the player invisible and immune to the opponent's attacks. It can also give you your opponent's items. Bill Blaster: A projectile weapon that shoots bullet bills at the opponent. Bob Omb: Explodes after about 2 seconds. It can also be thrown at the opponent. Lightning Bolt: Rarest item. Shrinks the opponent and makes them slow and extremely vulnerable to your attacks.
