Dawnleaf is a tortoiseshell cat who is in need of help because she is the daughter of a wonderful medicine cat. She was forbidden to have, because of the warrior code. No one knew she was actually Snowfang's kit, because when Snowfang became mate of Tigerstep, she became pregnant. She knew this was a bad sign, for she was a medicine cat, and medicine cats are forbidden to have kits (or a mate oops). A few moons later Snowfang had a tortoiseshell kit. She had planned on killing the kit, but once she saw how beautiful the kit was, she knew she couldn't let anything happen to it. That night she gave the kit, named Dawnkit by her guardian, to Nightsong, one of her trustworthy friends. Then she jumped into the rushing rapids by their clan and killed herself. Meanwhile, an apprentice who was training with Snowfang before she killed herself named Moonpaw was given her warrior name, Moongleam, and made medicine cat. And when she reached six moons old, Dawnkit, now Dawnpaw, was made an apprentice. Now let's rewind far into the series. Dawnpaw was given her warrior name, Dawnleaf, and she found out what really happened to her REAL mother. Then she was faced with a huge choice that could either save the clan.... or destroy it. Help her make the choice to either go on the long and perilous journey for the truth, or keep her findings a secret.
