Instructions

Pick a mode.. 1. Font examples will auto-change after 4 seconds or you can mouse-click through. If you see one you'd like to have, reply here, 2. (Not added yet) Try out a font that has already been vectorized by typing some test messages. 3. I created a special striped set of numbers from font 1. to use in games. Check out some of the color effects I came up with in for this animated number "4" So far, only font 5. "Bradley Hand ITL" has been vectorized. You can find it inside this project inside a sprite named after it. Add that sprite to your backpack to use the font in your own projects. I needed some numbers to use in games so I added the numbers from font 1. Acknowledge in their own sprite. I also created another sprite with a striped version of these numbers with several examples at the end of various color schemes you can create with this special set, including chrome. If you know of any more fonts added by Scratch users, please share the link with me, thanks!

Description

To convert text into svg, use (free) Inkscape. 1. Type one letter/number/symbol 2. Path -> Object to Path 3. Object -> Ungroup 4. and 5. Path -> Union (twice) 6. Save As -> plain SVG Note: Once imported into Scratch, ungroup twice. Afterwards, the svg can be edited normally. It necessary to import a single symbol at a time rather than the entire alphabet as you cannot ungroup the individual letters once imported. props to user gravtest... After unsuccessfully trying to convert text to .svg via a few online solutions as well as a few downloaded apps for this conversion, I found the answer mentioned by gravtest inside this forum post... http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/13471/ get Inkscape for free... https://inkscape.org/en/
